I never said how united performing now is justifying moyes appointment as well?
His consistancy at Everton was the reason united went for him believing he could transfer that to a level above, it remains to be seen whether he can

LOL .... Being concerned that United have got the wrong man in charge does not make you less of a supporter .... Lets look at some facts .... Several clubs got new managers (City, Chelsea, Everton to name 3 above us) and there were plenty of midfielders moving over the summer (Thiago, Fernandinho, Paulinho, Strootman, McCarthy, Fellaini,...) or probably available at the right price (Cabaye,...). I've no doubt money was available for whatever targets Moyes had. He inherited a squad that had just won the league easily. Relative to the league competition, it seems like a situation that a good manager should be able to handle. The summer transfer window was a disaster and a little embarrassing , however even without major signings the results just dont add up ....and the removal of Mike Phelan and Rene Meulenstein has proved to have been a major mistake .... I mean Phil Neville coaching Rooney and RVP ? Give me a break !!!

There's been concerned and the there's demanding the manager is sacked and not given any chance
I'm concerned!
But I'm not gonna get knee jerk over it while the manager is trying to get it right
I agree the transfer window was a let down but he went for the right players and was let down by the back room team
I think there's a lot more people who should be taking the blame for the inconsistent start, players especially
Just see how it goes red, it very may well turn out good

Fair Enough .... and IF moyes turns it around , I will be first to say I was wrong ..... However .... I do not understand why some people say United are in transition when a new manager is hired but the same does not apply for other teams. It seems as if we are expected to finish way off the pace by default. In comparison - Ancelotti walked into Chelsea and they won the league in his 1st season. Was he and his players not in transition when they won the league? There is just too many excuses for the under performing DM...... Let's own up to the fact we have not replaced one great manager with another. ( my opinion )

it basically all boils down to yolks inability to cope with the fact that moyes is second rate and united are pretty ordinary under him. this is a newly recognized condition known as gloryhunters teamnowcrap syndrome

The perfect analogy would be - we have booted the lovely Redalls out of the sack for Susan Boyle.

i guess without saf intimidating refs and ordering his players to apply pressure on refs to get the favoured calls youre nothing but an ordinary team
neville as well as other pundits were wondering how come united aint 'throwing the kitchen sink' at last 10 mins of the game which goes to show fergies team never really relied on class football more like in aggression and ricoches or deflection ....shoot cross hoof it long, put it in the box something will happen ....fergie never cared about the game. .... thats why he will never be considered a great....
